Vice President- Emily Freeman
Emily Freeman has been teaching in the Troy School District since 2007. She began her career teaching first grade, the time in a young child's development when they are mastering foundational literacy skills. She currently teaches second grade, and there is nothing more exciting than seeing those basic skills deepen as children develop into true readers, writers and thinkers! One of her greatest goals is to share the joy she has found as a lifelong reader with her students. Her classroom buzzes with the excitement of learning and growing together! She joined the Oakland County Reading Council to bring that joy to others and help provide outreach to the community.
